University of Geneva conference on the accelerating expansion of the universe – 2 March

Join the audience for a theoretical physics conference at the University of Geneva on 2 March at 6.30 p.m. on the theories explaining the accelerating expansion of the universe.

In order to test Einstein's theory, theoretical physics professor Camille Bonvin will present her method for comparing the time and space distortions generated by galaxies and clusters in the universe. Einstein's general relativity predicts that these two distortions are equal, in contrast to alternative theories of gravitation, according to which these distortions generally differ.
