Following the successful launch of the CERN Community Support Centre (CCSC) in Building 33 on 1 August 2024, which has since welcomed an average of 5500 visitors per month, we are pleased to announce the opening of a new CCSC branch in the Main Building on 1 October 2025.
This new branch is a natural extension of the existing CCSC in Building 33 and is designed to serve the CERN community who already have access to the site. It will provide the following services:
- Service Desk: open Monday to Friday, from 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m., the Service Desk provides the CERN community with direct assistance and information.
- IT Support on Site (IT-SOS): relocating from 504/R-005 (Restaurant 2) to the Main Building, the IT front desk will be open from Monday to Friday, from 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
- UNIQA: temporarily relocated to Building 55 since April, UNIQA moves back to the Main Building, integrated in the CCSC. Service hours remain the same: Monday to Friday 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m., and Tuesdays and Thursdays 2.00 to 4.00 p.m.
