In this summer issue, we share reports from events for the accelerator community, technical updates that derive from or aim to support post-LHC colliders, and a new outreach initiative for accelerator science applied to medicine. In more detail, we report from FCC Week 2019, the ARIES Annual Meeting and the Symposium ‘Accelerators for Science and Society’, as well as highlight an initiative to engage high school students with particle therapy, and several technical advancements. On an ending note, thank you to everyone who replied to the Accelerating News Reader’s Survey! The survey will be open for two more issues, so I hope you will take the time to participate.
