The topic:
Time is a limited resource in organisational life, and therefore, what leaders choose to focus their attention on defines their leadership.
This program will look at:
• 4000 Weeks – Time is limited, learn to make choices consciously
• Attention – What you pay attention to defines you as a leader
• Comparative Advantage – Do what you are good at and focus on where you add value (what you could do is not the same as what you should do)
• Stolen Focus – Multi-tasking is a myth
• The Red Queen Effect – The need to run faster and faster to stay in the same place (why being ‘busy’ is not always helpful)
• Neo in The Matrix – What is your bullet time? How do you slow down to speed up? (Based on the film The Matrix, how do you create the space to slow down and take a 360 degree view of your leadership?)
• The Power of Outliers – Embracing diversity and hearing implicit assumptions
This talk will be held in English.
